Arsenal included a goal from their esports team in their February goal of the month competition.

The Gunners released the video on social media of the 11 goals up for the prize.

From the men’s team, Nicolas Pepe and Mesut Ozil’s strikes against Newcastle were nominated along with Eddie Nketiah’s volley against Everton and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s overhead kick against Olympiakos.

Danielle van de Donk and Vivianne Miedema’s goals against Man City and Liverpool have been put forward from the women’s team.

From the academy, two strikes from Folarin Balogun have been nominated along with goals by Alfie Matthews and Catalin Cirjan.

The final nomination is from Arsenal’s esports team and is Alex Grd’s solo goal with Nicolas Pepe against Nantes in the eFootball.Pro league.

Fans can vote for their favourite goal on the club’s website.

Arsenal are one of 10 teams competing in the eFootball.Pro League alongside Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Celtic, Monaco, Schalke, Nantes and Boavista.

The international competition sees the teams compete on PES 2020 with only esports teams from professional football clubs playing against each other.

The 10 participating teams play against each other in a best-of-two mode.

The top two teams from the regular season automatically qualify for the knockout stage.

Those that finish third to sixth battle it out for the final two semi-final spots in a best-of-three mode.

The final will then be played on July 25, 2020, and is decided by a best-of-five mode.
